1. Information We Collect

• Astrologer/User Data: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and billing details (processed securely via regulated third-party payment gateways like Razorpay/Stripe).
• Client Data: To generate astrological charts, you will input your end-clients' Names, Dates of Birth, Times of Birth, and Places of Birth. You confirm that you have obtained explicit consent from your clients to process this data on a third-party platform.
• Usage Data: We log system usage, IP addresses, browser types, and API calls to monitor platform stability and enforce our Fair Usage Policy.

2. How We Process and Use Data

We use your data solely to provide and improve our SaaS services:

• Mathematical Processing: Birth coordinates are processed through astronomical APIs (Swiss Ephemeris) to generate accurate planetary degrees.
• AI Generation: When you request an AI Draft reading, the necessary planetary data is securely transmitted to Google Gemini APIs. We configure these API calls to ensure that Google does not use this data to train their public models, protecting client confidentiality.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or your clients' birth data to data brokers or marketing agencies.
We only share data with essential third-party service providers (Cloud Hosting, Payment Processors, LLM API Providers) strictly for the operational functionality of JyotishToday. We may also disclose data if required by a valid legal subpoena or court order under Indian law.

4. Data Security

We employ industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) for data in transit and secure database architectures to protect data at rest. However, no internet-based system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security against advanced cyber threats.

5. Your Rights (DPDP Act Compliance)

As a registered user, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data within your dashboard.
• Delete specific client profiles from your database at any time.
• Request full account deletion (Note: This will permanently erase your AI tokens and cannot be reversed).
